Delta Deluxe 5/8" CED x 1-5/8" LOC x 2 Flt Black Hawk Coated Downshear Finishing

Application: The DD625.1625.22 adds our Black Hawk performance coating and features a robust 5/8" diameter x 1-5/8" (2.65xD) length of cut 2 flute 30° high helix downshear design.  These features make the DD625.1625.22 an excellent choice for profile routing material up to 1-5/8" thick when a smooth top edge finish is required and downshear cutting pressure is needed to reduce or eliminate part movement.  The DD625.1625.22 can also be used for part cut out operations when utilizing a 25% chip load reduction.  Part cut out and profile routing operations will likely chip or fray the bottom edge of most materials, but this can be minimized when routing on a spoil board.  (Downshear tools should never be used for plunging cutting operations as this can result in a fire.)
