| Application: The D250.1125.22 features a 1/4" diameter x 1-1/8" (4.5xD) length of cut x 1/4" shank 2 flute 30° high helix downshear design. The long length of cut is designed for profile and corner clean out operations typically found in millwork applications. The downshear cutting action eliminates any chipping and fraying to provide a smooth top edge and side finish. The D250.1125.22 is NOT recommended for part cut out, slot or pocket routing applications but can be used for these operations if chip load reduction is applied. (Downshear tools should never be used for plunging cutting operations as this can result in a fire.) |
